You'll return home with the skills required to prepare many of the same meals enjoyed during your weight loss vacation. You'll enjoy lessons from Wellspring's culinary instructors, learning how to prepare low-fat and low-density, but delicious foods. Quick, practical dishes are the focus, like pita pocket pizzas or a quick fat-free stir-fry. And for those who do like to entertain, there will be lots of advice on how to adapt your favorite recipes and traditional holiday dishes to be healthier and still delicious.
In our nutrition classes, we'll teach you everything you need to know about making healthy food choices. Most guests have been bombarded with information (some reliable and most of it not!) about dieting and weight loss. So we cut right to the scientific information that you need to know, and teach you practical, hands-on skills that you can put to use right away. Training in grocery stores and restaurants will teach you to shop for and order low-fat food with confidence.
